Keyssa’s Kiss Connectivity Wins 2016 CES Innovation Award in the Embedded Technologies Category
New York – November 11, 2015 – Keyssa today announced it has been named a CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Embedded Technologies category for Kiss Connectivity, a contactless, solid state and nearly instantaneous method to move and stream massive files between and within devices. Kiss Connectors are available as a reference design for OEM and ODM partners.
Keyssa is honored to have been recognized for Kiss Connectivity, a solution that will open up the way devices are designed and communicate,” said Eric Almgren, CEO of Keyssa. “Not only will Kiss Connectors make it easier for consumers to share files between devices, they will inspire a new era of industrial design for phones, tablets and laptops that are sleeker, faster and more beautiful than ever before.”
CES Innovations are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 27 product categories. Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace and unique/novel features present.
The CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the producer of CES 2016, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, and have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976. Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market.
